Ramón Chesa Padrón & Javier Mena Marqués opened the office Chesa & Mena Architecs in 1982, being both professors at the Deparment of Architecture in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From there after they colaborated in several projects, both public and private, as well as participating in Architectural competitions.

The Chesa & Mena Architecs Office has colaborated with different young architecs as a training at the beginning of their carreers.

In 2004, Ramón Chesa Rocafort,after finishing his carreer, enter the office and so does Elena García-Lisón Jorge in the 2008 as asóciate architec.
